Have you ever compared yourself to a flower? Let me explain. Like flowers, we are beautiful and delicate, requiring unique and special care. When we receive this intentional care, we have the capacity to grow, thrive and see our fullest potential.
“But what if that flower didn’t have the proper foundation
...to grow & develop?”
In turn, we have the ability to nurture the environment around us, like flowers, that provide oxygen, food, esthetic beauty and more. But what if that flower didn’t have the proper foundation of soil to grow and develop? What if there was little to no sunlight or water provided for this flower to see its fullest potential?

Many of us, like flowers, oftentimes don’t get the proper care we need mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially or even financially for a variety of reasons. This creates many negative ripple effects in our relationships with others, our ability to fully use our gifts and talents, and use them with passion and effectiveness. Most importantly, these negative ripple effects can cause frustration in how to live out our God-given purpose.

I am a Therapist, Photographer & Poet!
I am Inspired On Purpose when I’m helping others discover healing & their God-given purpose!
Hi I’m the Founder and CEO of Inspired On Purpose, LLC! So nice to meet you.
I’ve always had a good listening ear growing up. People always felt safe sharing personal things with me. Plus, I was always drawn to people, creativity & thinking outside of the box. All of it helped me be the person I am today. I feel blessed waking up each day knowing I get to help others discover healing and purpose!
I am often asked “how do you do that?” When I saw my need for seeking therapy personally when I was younger, I knew I wanted to be an advocate, especially in communities of color, to debunk the negative stigma it carried in our community. So I became a therapist. licensed in School Counseling, with my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Counseling Education from Indiana University.

I have over 15 years of experience counseling people in areas of anxiety, depression, career consulting and transitions, self-care development, group/family counseling & mediation. My clients are teens up to 70+ years young. Here’s a video that explains how I do that:

I enjoy teaching & facilitating in unique ways that helps my clients get results personally and professionally using a variety of tools, such as assessments, my “Life Work” techniques and resources, as well as using poetry & photography.
